Everything Everything

nicola yoon

'The greatest risk is not taking one'
title: Everything Everything
Author: Nicola Yoon
Genre : Drama and Romance

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

What if you couldn't touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face… or kiss the boy next door? Everything, Everything tells the unlikely love story of Maddy (Amandla Stenberg), a smart, curious and imaginative 18-year-old who due to an illness cannot leave the protection of the hermetically sealed environment within her house, and Olly, the boy next door who won’t let that stop them. Maddy is desperate to experience the much more stimulating outside world, and the promise of her first romance. Gazing through windows and talking only through texts, she and Olly form a deep bond that leads them to risk everything to be together… even if it means losing everything

It ends with us

It ends with us

'Sometimes it's the one who  loves you that  hurts you

the most '

Title: It ends with us
Author: Colleen Hoover
Pages:376
Rating: 6/5

first I am a big fan of colleen hoover's writing. Such an amazing style and meaning; It ends with us is one of my best romantic stories .

  • Review    :     Colleen Hoover presents the  result of what happens when love turns into abuse of power and physical brutality .Lilly Bloom runs a flower shop for people who hate flowers;Ryle Kincaid is a surgeon who says he never wants to get married or even have children. They both meet on a rooftop in Boston on the night Ryle loses one of his patients and he feels guilty and sad about it ,and Lily attends her abusive father's funeral.

  • Lily swears she will never live or accept being in an abusive home after what her father had done.Unfortunately, Ryle makes the same signs as her mother that Lily tend to ignore,Lily decides to marry him despite all his default and she hoped that Ryle's qualities surpasses his bad behaviour. But none of this happens. The bad outweight the good in his and she found herself in the position of her mother.
  • Lily sees the reflection of her childhood with her own eyes,as if going in retrospective journey.Meanwhile,Atlas her first boy turns out in Boston and begs Lily to leave Ryle. But she didn't unstead she cut off her relationship with him and go backto stand next to Ryle hoping she  end this abusive cycle before time goes on.
  • Their relationship was portrayed as honesty, compasionte but abusive ties.Colleen Hoover tries to highlight this image in a painful cover, hard times and bad truth. Her book sheds the light to the abusive side that many lives in and that we need to end it before it's too late.
